Tennis Clash, the world’s leading mobile tennis game, in partnership with the International Tennis Federation (ITF), today announced new updates to the World Tennis eChampionship, which has already gathered 97,000 players in over 500,000 matches in October across countries including the United States, France, and Italy. Building on the momentum from its initial launch last month, the second installment promises even more thrills for tennis gaming enthusiasts.

The World Tennis eChampionship is an online-only event that kicked off the first in-game themed tournament in October. Starting today, the tournament-branded virtual courts will come alive with a fresh wave of Championship branded content. Players can continue to compete for glory with the second tournament on November 9-12 and a final tournament from November 16-19, offering exclusive opportunities to win some of the items coming up in this new update.

In this additional ITF World Tennis eChampionship update, new Championship branded items will be featured, including:

  • Themed String: A distinctive and exclusive string to enhance their in-game performance.

  • Themed Outfit: A stylish outfit that allows players to express their unique tennis style.

  • Themed Bag: A fashionable bag containing special items, including eChampionship-branded articles that will be available as a reward for in-game challenges.

In keeping with the spirit of Tennis Clash and the ITF’s commitment to the community, the highly coveted “Future of Tennis String” will make its return, offering players the opportunity to support young tennis players while enhancing their own gameplay.

“Tennis Clash is the world’s most popular mobile tennis game and the ITF is proud to continue our partnership with its creators, Wildlife Studios, providing fans with an unparalleled virtual tennis experience,” said Kelly Fairweather, ITF chief executive officer. “We are also delighted that the proceeds from purchases of the ‘Future of Tennis String’ will be invested in ITF development programmes, helping us fulfill our mission of delivering tennis for future generations.”

“The Wildlife Studios team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries and innovating mobile tennis gaming,” shared Felipe Mendes. “This next installment of the ITF World Tennis eChampionship in Tennis Clash, featuring a themed season, exciting tournaments, and exclusive branded content, highlights our commitment to delivering the ultimate tennis experience.”

Developed by Wildlife Studios and based on in-depth studies and analysis of the sport, Tennis Clash offers an experience that is extremely similar to the real matches. As a result, it has become highly popular not just with mobile gamers, but tennis fans alike. Easy to learn but hard to master, Tennis Clash is consistently ranked in the top 5 in the sports games category in App Store, and was selected as one of the “5 best competitive games of 2019” in Google Play.
