Sniper 3D, developed by Brazilian studio Wildlife, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a historic milestone: over 1 billion downloads worldwide. The achievement secures its place as one of the most successful Brazilian games in history.

Wildlife credits its success to an early bet on the FPS genre for mobile — which wasn’t trending back in 2013 when the project began. Sniper 3D helped introduce millions of players to mobile shooting games and paved the way for later global hits like Call of Duty: Mobile.

Staying relevant over a decade has required constant updates:

“We’re always looking for new ways to improve the game, and we have big plans for the coming months,” says Márcio Martino, Senior Manager at Wildlife. “These include a major visual overhaul, new competitive modes integrated into single-player missions, and other strategic upgrades to keep the experience immersive and ensure the game remains relevant for years to come.”
